Kris is the Founder and Artistic Director of Resonate. She is passionate about sharing motivational messages with people all over the world.

Kris is a Connecticut native and cum laude percussion graduate of the Hartt School of Music. She toured the world with the international sensation,  STOMP for over five years. She has performed on VH1, CNN, GMA, and FOX. She has been featured in issue #18 of the female celebrated magazine - TOM TOM Magazine. She is a Pound Pro and advocate for Boss Babes in Austin, TX. // @KrisLeeDrums

SCOTT STANDLEY

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE: CHICAGO, IL

Scott Standley is a self-employed writer, composer, performer and dog-wrangler. He was born and raised in Austin where he attended The University of Texas at Austin, earning a writing degree while creating music and video projects with an array of multi-talented friends.

Shortly after graduation, Scott moved to Chicago where he wrote music reviews for Chicago Magazine and formed a band called ChooChoo that sits somewhere between grunge and gospel. Now, Scott splits his time between ChooChoo, writing sci-fi screenplays and recording a debut solo album entitled Cosmic Hymnal for the Urban Midwest.

NOAH MOSGOFIAN

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE: AUSTIN, TX

Noah Mosgofian discovered the magic of drumming when he joined his first percussion ensemble 30 years ago. Since then Noah has taught thousands of children and adults, directed an African dance company, composed Samba rhythms for a 60-person drumline, and built a tiny house.

Noah’s performance and teaching credits include STOMP, San Francisco Ballet, The Drum Café, Edinburgh International Festival, Austin Samba, and dozens of bands across the country. 

CHAFIC SAAD

CO-FOUNDER, ARTIST IN RESIDENCE: AUSTIN, TX

Chafic Saad is the Co-Founder of Resonate. He is an FAA licensed pilot, professional aerial cinematographer, and an award winning filmmaker. He is the founder of Kind Motion Pictures, a highly creative aerial cinematography organization that travels the world to capture magic. He has produced aerial footage for Google, CNN, ABC, Hulu, Law & Order SVU, AXS TV, and the International Body Music Festival.

He has been performing for over two decades and is an avid body percussionist and percussive performer. His credentials include DrumJam and STOMP NYC. // @ChaficSaad

CHRIS RUBIO

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE: SAN DIEGO, CA

Chris is the founder of Arms Wide Open - a program that provides a safe, comfortable and positive environment for persons with special needs that offers youth and adults with social, delayed developmental and intellectual disabilities the opportunity to participate in theatre productions.

Chris is a master teacher in the fields of percussion, dance, choreography, instrumental music, producing a Broadway production, writing a screenplay, writing music, producing a professional CD, directing theatre, etc. He performed with the off-Broadway production of STOMP for more than six years and performed with them in the United States and overseas.

JOHN ANGELES

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE: FORT WORTH, TX

John began his music training with a focus in percussion in Forth Worth. He went on to study percussion and music performance at TCU earning his bachelors degree in Music Education. He was a proud member of the 2001 DCI world champions, the Cavaliers, where he marched snare drum. John was a member of the percussion group 6 to 1, where he did two tours with The Great Moscow Circus.

In 2007 he joined the cast of STOMP in New York City and played the lead role in the touring and the New York production of STOMP.  John has toured all over the world as a clinician and performer.

JASON NIOUS

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE: LAS VEGAS, NV

Jason Nious is an actor, dancer, and arts educator. On stage, Jason has performed with STOMP,  Step Afrika!, One Night for One Drop, Cirque du Soleil’s KA at MGM, and originated the role of the Mardi Gras clown in Cirque du Soleil’s Zarkana.

Jason has served as a cultural ambassador with the US Embassy at events in Tanzania, Mozambique, Madagascar, Zimbabwe, Brazil, South Africa, and Central America. Jason received his BA in Theatre from the University of New Mexico.
